Sky Zone used to use CenterEdge but has recently updated to Roller. It is extremely user-friendly and internally allows for easy access to all files. For example, it allows Sky Zone to keep track of online tickets, groups and parties, waivers, and memberships. Internally it allows Sky Zone to create certain staff permission and inventory control. For customers, Roller allows customers to now use mobile apps to check-in, have access to discount codes, and use cashless wallets.
They keep track of the number of customers as well as all their information in a secure database that only certain people can access. They keep information about all members and all waivers. These are extremely important pieces of information for Sky Zone to log as it is for the protection of themselves and their customers. The main downfall of this updated system is that it is based out of the country. This can lead to a struggle for employees to get answers and storage is a problem sometimes. But overall, the internal use of this new system has been a huge success.
Sky Zone also has a main website, then each location has its own interface. Roxie explained that the main website lead to a lot of traffic to their location page. It is important to point out that updating the website internally was extremely easy. She mentioned there are apps to create and update on the website that are good and non-complicated, but naturally, there can always be glitches. Overall the website is good internally and externally.
Social media plays a big role in Sky Zone. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube can help the business grow since people can get informed of the events, promotions, and other offers. Whenever someone posts pictures on their social media, they encourage others to go. Another way they can get more customers is by making informative posts or reminders to people about the events currently happening.
After talking to Roxie, we were able to get more of an insider view of how Sky Zone uses social media. We learned that sometimes they are able to reach the market perfectly, and other times it will not be the best. Usually for social media to be a good way to reach their customers they have to pay a bit of money for the ads to be at the top of their target market’s pages. It is not their best outlet for reaching customers and having interactions with them. But she did make it clear that when they reach their market through social media, it always leads to good outcomes.
Another great software that Sky Zone takes advantage of is Eulerity, the world's most effective local marketing platform. The software works with the core marketing team to offer franchise partners an easy solution to create branded ads within five minutes. Sky Zone can now refine its marketing strategies and follow its advertising performance in an application with Command Center. According to the study produced by Eulerity, Sky Zone saw a 43% increase in total park revenue after the partnership. Also, they saw that 69,300 consumer clicks or interactions were directly from Eulerity ads over the first 90 days of working together. This can prove to be a great partnership for Sky Zone to keep customers active and see new, interesting marketing more often.
